Throb is an exploration of the sensual and of the sexual in the physical elements of the cinema. The flickering light from a pair of video monitors quivers, quakes, and throbs as it falls upon the flesh of the spectator.

Throb posits that moving images are a form of subconscious visual seduction--that the rhythms and movements of which they are comprised indicate a real-world manifestation of the human sexual impulse.
