no – never too smarty to fall for slick brochures and sales hypes . MLM and even franchises are for people too lazy or too stupid to work for themselves as an independent operator. Good luck – you learned the hard way .As far as on the internet that are not MLM – the majority are scams and if they were so good they cretainly would not be advertising them on fantasy island – ooops I mean the internet . If it too good to be true – it usually is .

It’s called affiliate marketing. Companies with real products pay real commissions for leads and sales. In some cases all you have to do is fund a PPC campaign and send traffic to their site. In others, you build your own site to sell the product or capture the lead. Just make sure you study up before you start because, especially with ppc, you can loose your a– pretty quickly.

Take a look at comissionjunction.com and kowabunga.com to start to learn about both being an affiliate marketer and the products available.

Try to pick products you are interested in so it will be easier for you to understand the needs of the marketplace.

Oh, and there is no "easy" money in this world. You have to earn it through hard work, education and determination. All the technology in the world isn’t going to change that.

If you got scammed it probably wasn’t a real MLM opportunity. MLM is a proven method of doing business.

There are many legitimate opportunities both online and offline.

Many people who scream "SCAM", do so becauce they weren’t able to make it generate cash. Usually due to lack of training in running a real business. Sometimes because they’re just lazy.

Keep trying… just be careful if someone promises you instant riches with no work… there’s no such thing.

I have spent hundreds of hours researching work@home opportunities in the last couple of months and it’s my opinion that 98%+ of what’s out there are scams and the 1%+ that isn’t either pays pennies on the hour or ise-bay which is very hit or miss because you have to pay for ads, pay for paypal and sell the right product at the right price.
