Fresh black pepper (grind yourself)
fresh minced garlic
fresh ginger (buy whole root from store and grate yourself)
A good chardonnay or red wine
fresh parsley
fresh oregano
sea salt
cold-pressed olive oil

I grow my own fresh herbs. So – I am partial to fresh.
