Frequencies is a cycle of short films inspired by a fascination with the electromagetic spectrum as manifest in its various naturally occurring and human-made forms. Each of these films treats a specific wavelength of the spectrum (i.e. naturally and unnaturally occurring radio signals, television broadcasts, visible light, etc.), with some referential overlap. A single visual thread consisting of related images and movements runs throughout the films, suggesting the differentiation between the observable phenomena at each wavelength. The cycle as a whole can be taken as being representative of a megaburst of multi-wavelength electromagnetic energy, or simply as a series of variations upon a common theme.
